About FZ1

The FZ-1 is the only naked superbike by Yamaha for the Indian market. The bike with its aggressive look screams brilliant road presence and is one of the practical bikes one can buy in India.

The FZ1 is powered by inline-four 998cc liquid cooled engine borrowed from the previous generation YZF-R1. This engine churns out 150bhp at 11,500rpm and maximum torque of 106Nm at 8,000rpm.This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with one-down and five-shifting up gearbox. Yamaha FZ1 features an alloy twin-spark frame and swingarm, plus top-drawer fully adjustable suspension at both ends. It gets upside-down forks in front, a monoshock at the rear and sticky tyres at both ends, with a 190/50 x 17-incher at the rear.

The Yamaha FZ-1 is sold in India with two colour-options- white and black. It competes with the meaner Kawasaki Z1000 and the Triumph Speed Triple.

    This bike is good for everyday drive. I take it to office everyday. No need to bend down like track bike to grab the handlebar, it's comfortable like other fz models. I don't drive it aggressive or try for top speed, because this bike not meant for it. This fz1 is roads
