About Duke 200

KTM 200 Duke is a street bike available at a starting price of Rs. 1,92,936 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. The KTM 200 Duke is powered by 199.5cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 24.67 bhp and a torque of 19.3 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, KTM 200 Duke comes up with anti-locking braking system. This 200 Duke bike weighs 159 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13.4 liters.

KTM India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the 2022 iteration of 200 Duke. The changes to the 2022 model are limited to styling updates in the form of a new paint theme and the 200 Duke is now available in Electronic Orange and Dark Silver Metallic colour options.

Both colour themes use a dual-tone finish and feature identical graphics. However, the Electronic Orange gets orange shade for the sub-frame while the Dark Silver Metallic gets silver finish to the unit. Both colour options come with black colour for the tubular frame with orange finish for the alloy wheels.

The changes are limited to styling upgrades in the form of the new paint theme. Thus, the 2022 model continues to feature a halogen headlight, an LED taillight, LED turn indicators, orange backlit LCD screen, and a switchable ABS. The hardware comprises upside-down front forks and rear mono-shock to handle the suspension duties. The braking system includes single discs on both wheels while the safety net comprises dual-channel ABS.

The 2022 model continues to use the BS6-compliant 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 24.6bhp at 10,000rpm and 19.3Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. This motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is available in a single variant and competes in the same price range as the Honda Hness 350, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and Suzuki Gixxer SF250, among others.

I like this Duke very much. Its experience is very good for the boys who ride a bike daily in the city and its service cost is also low and doesn't have many cons..Its looks are also good according to other naked bikes in the market. It attracts with its sounds also. The riding experience is very great compared with another bike.

Regular oil changes: It is recommended to change the oil every 3000-4000 km or 6 months (whichever comes first) for the KTM 200 Duke. Fresh oil helps keep the engine lubricated and running smoothly. Clean or replace air filter: The air filter should be checked and cleaned or replaced every 5000 km or so. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance and mileage. Check chain tension: The chain should be checked and adjusted every 1000 km or so. Proper chain tension helps ensure smooth power transmission and reduces wear on the chain and sprockets. Check and maintain tire pressure: Tire pressure should be checked and adjusted as per manufacturer recommendations. Proper tire pressure ensures better handling and longer tire life. Check brake pads and fluid: The brake pads should be checked regularly and replaced if worn. The brake fluid should also be checked and replaced as per manufacturer recommendations. I use my Duke 200 for weekend rides only. I ride it safely and at a healthy rpm (4k - 6k). I tried the top speed test just one time after the first service and noticed the handle wobble.
Other than that power is decent, torque is excellent, and an absolute attention grabber. The seat is too hard for long rides. The vibrations at the handlebar are pretty high which has resulted in the hand going numb multiple times.
Apart from that, so far so Good.
