Honda Africa Twin [2019-2020] Expert Opinion

  • Good Things

    • Extremely easy to ride on the trails
    • 1100cc engine is quite torquey
    • Equipped with touch screen instrument cluster
  • Could be Better

    • Bike has become pricey
    • Not available at all Honda showrooms
    • Expensive to maintain

BikeWale's Take

The new Africa Twin 1100cc gets a bigger engine, more features and is now far safer than the older model. The bike is equipped with touch screen display, making it one of the few bikes in the world to get one. It also gets electronic rider aids, which work with a six-axis inertial measurement unit, include cornering ABS, rear-lift control, Honda Selectable Torque Control, cruise control, wheelie control and DCT cornering detection. But with all these additions, the bike has become quite expensive.
