About Pulsar AS150

Bajaj Auto, the Pune-based motorcycle manufacturer, went on a launch spree at the start of 2015 by introducing new motorcycles to the Indian market. They first launched the fully-faired Pulsar RS200 followed by the launch of the adventure sport motorcycles - the Pulsar AS200 and AS150.

The Pulsar AS150 is Bajaj's smaller 150cc adventure-tourer and features the same body kit that the Pulsar AS200 has. It is built on a new perimeter frame like the AS200 instead of the regular 150's. The motorcycle gets a nitrox mono-suspension at the back and carries most of the elements from the AS200.

The bike boasts of a new semi-fairing, a projector headlamp and a tall windscreen that is same as the one on the AS200. The speedometer, OVRMs, clip-on handlebars, tail lamps and most other elements are from the Pulsar NS200.

The Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is powered by a revised version of the existing 150cc air-cooled DTS-i mill. This 149.5cc single-cylinder motor churns out 16.8bhp of power and 13Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The Pulsar AS150 is available in three colours - blue, red and black. It competes with the Yamaha Fazer V2.0 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF.
