About HF Dawn [2015]

The Hero HF Dawn is the Gurgaon-based two-wheeler major’s base level commuter. This bare bones machine embodies the philosophy of the original CD100 from the late 1980s and serves the purpose of travelling from point A to point B with nothing more involved.

The Hero HF Dawn is powered by a 97cc engine that produces 7.7bhp and 8Nm of torque. Power is channelled to the rear wheel via a four-speed sequential manual and a chain drive.

Given its very low price, the HF Dawn’s feature list is almost minimal. It gets an analogue console with just a speedometer, single trip metre, wire wheels and drum brakes on the front and back.  It is offered in five colour options-red, black with purple stripes, black with red stripes, silver and maroon.
