About Karizma ZMR [2009-2014]

The Karizma ZMR was introduced as an upmarket alternative to the successful touring motorcycle, the Karizma. The ZMR has the same 223cc engine from the Karizma albeit with a fuel injection system, oil cooler and a 16-bit ECU. The ZMR is essentially a touring motorcycle meant for comfortable long distance riding stints.

The ZMR’s 223cc engine produces 17.8bhp and 18.35Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The ZMR features multi-functional digital console, integrated LED tail lamps, complete body fairing and coloured rear-view mirrors. It gets front and rear disc brake set-up with five spoke alloy-wheels and a 15.3 litre fuel tank. It is 2,110mm long, 805mm wide and 1,175mm tall and has a ground clearance of 159 mm. It is available in a choice of four shades: panther black metallic, vibrant orange, blazing red and spotlight white.

The ZMR is priced at Rs 1,06,993 (Ex-Showroom Mumbai) and CBR 250 is its rival if we don’t consider the bargain pricing of this sports-tourer.
