Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard

Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard is a bike available at a starting price of Rs. 11,99,000 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 1 colour. The Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard is powered by 803cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 71.87 bhp and a torque of 66.2 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Scrambler Urban Motard bike weighs 189 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13.5 liters.

Ducati India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the new Scrambler Urban Motard. This new variant packs unique styling which is inspired by the street art found across cities. The motorcycle comes in a dual-tone Star White Silk and Ducati GP’19 Red paint with graffiti-style graphics.

While it gets unique graphics, most of its bodywork is similar to the Scrambler Icon. However, it is distinguishable from the Urban Motard through its high front fender and race-style side number plates. It also rides on Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tyres fitted on 17-inch spoked wheels which complement its Motard tag. The feature list on the motorcycle comprises an LED DRL up front, LED tail light, LCD screen with Ducati Multimedia system, cornering ABS, and a USB socket under the seat.

The mechanical specifications on the Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard include an 803cc, L-twin engine that makes 73bhp at 8,250rpm and 66.2Nm of torque at 5,750rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and it benefits from an assist and slipper clutch as standard. Additionally, it also gets a hydraulic clutch for light clutch action.

The hardware on the motorcycle comprises a tubular-steel trellis frame. The suspension duties are handled by 41mm non-adjustable Kayaba forks at the front and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The braking tasks are handled by twin 330mm discs at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear.

The Ducati Scrambler range rivals the likes of Triumph Street Scrambler in the Indian market.
