About S1 Air
In a recent update, Ola re-launched the S1 Air with three different battery options. So, it’s now available with a 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh battery. The asking price is set at Rs 84,999, Rs 99,999, and Rs 1,09,999 (all three ex-showroom Bengaluru), respectively.
The Ola S1 Air looks identical to the remaining two variants. It features the same twin projector headlamp, curvy body panels, a single-piece seat, and mirrors. But unlike the other models, the Air gets a flat footboard which can add to the usability as it provides a little extra storage space.
Ola has equipped the S1 Air with a hub-mounted motor with a peak power of 4.5kW. Ola claims the S1 Air’s top speed is 95kmph, while the range is rated at 85km for the 2kWh, 125km for the 3kWh, and 165km for the 4kWh battery.
It gets features like a TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, riding modes, reverse mode, side stand alert, OTA updates, music playback, remote boot lock/unlock, navigation, and predictive maintenance.
The S1 Air rides on telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. Its braking hardware comprises a front and rear drum brake mounted on 90/90-12 wheels. The S1 Air weighs 99kg and gets 34 litres of under-seat storage space.
Ola offers the S1 Air in five colours – Porcelain White, Neo Mint, Coral Glam, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver. It rivals the Ather 450X, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and other electric two-wheelers in the segment.

The best and most affordable e-bike in the segment with a true range of 85km, well designed and lives up to the mark, only the drawback is no option for cruise control, the hump if removed will give a broader floorboard, rest the buyer should take a thorough ride and use his mind but assured the buyer is not going to regret buying this scooter.

Well-balanced OLA's Savior Scooter

The OLA S1 Air can prove to be the one well-balanced scooter launched by ola after the ola S1 pro which had mixed responses.-Looks are pretty similar to other ola scooters which carry a minimalist approach of design.-Performance is lesser compared to ola S1 Pro as the battery capacity is lesser. -But the front suspensions are a thing to be noticed as now there are two telescopic forks in the front which perform better on the bad patches when compared to ola S1 pro's single fork. -But this scooter should be compared with TVS iQube which has pretty similar specs and has a slightly better pace on the road. -The screen is a powerhouse that has 3 GB Ram which provides a smooth interface.Overall this is a well-balanced scooter that can be used for daily commutes but at the same time, it is ola's responsibility to provide more reliability to discourage all the hate being spread about the scooter on public platforms.
