About D15

BGauss D15 is an electric scooter available at a starting price of Rs. 1,34,255 in India. It is available in 2 variants and 5 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 1,45,408. BGauss D15 generates 1500 W power from its motor. With both front and rear drum brakes, BGauss D15 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels.

BGauss has announced the launch of the D15 electric scooter in the Indian market. This new electric scooter packs a retro design that is complemented by several modern-day features. These features comprise full-LED lighting, LCD screen, smartphone connectivity, removable battery, in-built navigation system, digital speedometer, keyless start, USB port for mobile charging, and notification alerts.

The electric scooter uses a 3.2kWh li-ion battery pack that is claimed to deliver a range of 115km per charge and fully recharge in five and a half hours. The scooter also features two ride modes – Eco and Sports. The company will also support its customers with Annual Maintenance support, Mobile App support, Roadside Assistance, and Pick and Drop facilities. The D15 electric scooter will be offered in two variants — D15i and D15 Pro.

The suspension setup on the D15 comprises telescopic forks and twin rear springs. The braking hardware includes drum brakes on both wheels. Furthermore, one of the unique features of the D15 is its 16-inch alloy wheels. Upon launch, it will rival the likes of Okinawa OKHI-90 and Odysse Hawk in the Indian market.
