Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster now available in new colours

- Jawa 42 is now available in Metallic Cosmic Carbon colour

- Yezdi Roadster gets Crimson Dual Tone paint

- No change to mechanical specifications

After the launch of the limited-edition 42 Tawang in India, JawaYezdi Motorcycles has announced new colours for the Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster.The Jawa 42 now gets a new shade of Metallic Cosmic Carbon, while the Yezdi Roadster benefits from the Crimson Dual Tone colour that features a gloss finish. This paint theme is similar to the one seen on the Jawa 42 Bobber.

The new Jawa 42 Cosmic Carbon has been priced at Rs 1,95,142, while the Yezdi Roadster Crimson Dual Tone has been listed at Rs 2,03,829 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

The changes are limited to the addition of new paint themes. The mechanical specifications remain unaltered and both motorcycles retain their respective engines. Thus, the Yezdi Roadster continues to use the 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a maximum output of 29.2bhp and a peak torque of 28.95Nm. Meanwhile, the Jawa 42 is powered by a 294.72cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 26.9bhp and 26.84Nm. Both motorcycles use a six-speed transmission. The Yezdi Roadster further benefits from an assist and a slipper clutch mechanism.

In other updates, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles plans to expand its footprint in India with new outlets. The company currently has about 400 touchpoints across India and plans to reach 500 outlets by the end of this calendar year.
