First of all; if you feel like buying one of the jawa 42 or classic then don't read my review else it may disappoint you big time. I am 5'7. Have been riding bike since last 15 yrs. And have been riding bullet since past 11yrs. But since the launch of jawa; i wanted to move from re family and move to new family. Only reason is re has become too common now days. 5 out of 10 on the roads you see re owners hence i wanted to move out of this family with similar specs; i felt finally re has got an opponent.So i thought of having a test ride and do the booking. Let me tell you; currently the waiting time is 9 months what dealers are saying. And booking amount is just 5k refundable. I went to one of the thane dealer and first drove jawa 42 and then drove jawa classic. Feedback on 42: as soon as i sat on this; the seat felt so stiff and hard. Not sure why company has provided such hard seat and that too very flat. Being a re owner; i have habit of seating in straight posture with stretched legs but you don't get same in jawa. I had to bend to reach out to handles and bend my knee towards foot rest. I felt like i am driving a racing bike. Immediately i rejected this bike.Feedback on classic: thought lets classic give me what i am looking for; but even this bike disappointed me. First of all the the speedometer is placed too far. You have to bend to see the meter box. Again to reach out to handles i had to bend again but less compared to 42. Same thing with seat. I doubt if any re owner like me would prefer jawa bike over re. As a bike owner what we look for was missing in jawa.Comfort seating posture; soft seats; handle at good height; good power and thump. While driving jawa i never felt it has power near to re. May be non re bike owner would prefer jawa to try. Sorry jawa.

I am looking for a perfect bike for me because the bike I am looking for is going to be my first cruise bike of my life. The bike I selected for me is going to be jawa , after rejecting harley bike which not worth it in the price of 6.5 lakh I have tried royal enfield bikes but that bike is just normal in market every 3rd person rides bullet in my town . So I want to be a center of eye when I own my new bike so I tested jawa the close to perfect bike for me under 2 lakh vibration of bike is no more problem in cruise jawa, which is the biggest draw back or royal enfield. So I suggest you all guys go for jawa bike.

My jawa 42 purchased in june started giving engine problem with in 1300 km running after first service....Gear slips when we rise the accelerator above 30-40 km speed..Started getting engine problem signal ..Also overheating problem. Till now no showroom in hubli ...Man...

Till now no showroom in hubli ...Mangalore or bangalore showrooms having company announces accessories. Also no spare parts. Not comfortable to take bike for long ride it may give problem any time. I feel this is mahindra tw product more than jawa....Sure we wont get resale after some time if engine behave like this.
